Moritz is a Senior Associate with the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in New York, where he helps the world’s leading technology companies and “unicorns” with mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, venture capital, and other strategic and financial transactions.
His transaction experience in excess of $100bn includes Dell’s $67bn acquisition of EMC, the largest technology deal in history. Over the past years, Moritz had the honor to advise Fortune 500 CEOs and political leaders on-site in more than 20 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia—including Dr. Condoleezza Rice, Elon Musk, Ginni Rometty, Lloyd Blankfein, and Michael Dell.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he worked in various strategy roles at IBM Corporation, McKinsey & Company, and the Executive Office of the President at The White House.
Moritz holds an M.B.A. and an M.A. in Education from Stanford University, where he graduated as Arjay Miller Scholar and served as a voting member to the Board of Trustees, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
In recognition for his contributions at the interface of Silicon Valley and Wall Street, Moritz was honored among Forbes Magazine’s “30 Under 30”.
