Annett Meiritz

Annett Meiritz, U.S. correspondent for the German business daily Handelsblatt, has been reporting from the US capital for seven years. She travels around the country, trying to find out what the American dream still means today. As the mother of two daughters born in the US, she also has a personal interest in bringing her beloved and sometimes contradictory America closer to Germans. Before joining Handelsblatt, Annett worked as a political correspondent for Spiegel Online.
