Lieutenant Colonel Bjoern Steffen Hoyme

Bjoern Hoyme, MC/MPA '23, is a German Army active-duty officer (Lieutenant Colonel) and a graduate of the International General Staff Officer Course at the German Command and Staff College.
Bjoern is the Deputy Head of HR (J1) at NATO’s Joint Support and Enabling Command. In previous assignments, he served in the Directorate-General for Defence and Security Policy at the Federal Ministry of Defence and in the Strategy Branch at the Office of the Federal President.
Bjoern has extensive leadership experience in the airborne infantry, including two deployments to Afghanistan as part of NATO's ISAF mission.
