Christian Strowa

Christian Strowa assumed the roles of Director of the German Center for Research and Innovation New York and of the DAAD Regional Office North America in September. He studied American Literature, Psychology, and Media Studies at the University of Bonn and New York University and holds a postgraduate degree from UCL’s Institute of Education. He has held teaching roles at Dublin City University and University College London. Before his appointment in New York, Christian served as Head of the Division “Knowledge and Network” at the DAAD’s headquarters in Bonn, where his responsibilities included the Centre for International Academic Cooperation KIWi.
