Juliane Haubold-Stolle
Historian and exhibition curator: studied middle and modern history and political science in Göttingen, Geneva and Torun, then did her doctorate on a German-Polish topic of contemporary history (“Myth of Upper Silesia”). Initially working on and in the German-Polish-French scientific and cultural exchange, then a scientific traineeship at the German Historical Museum (DHM). As an exhibition curator since 2012, she has been involved in the public presentation of history and thus the German culture of remembrance, especially through exhibitions, including “1914-1918. The First World War” (DHM), “Excluded. Archeology of Forced Camps” (Documentation Center for Nazi Forced Labor/Topopography of Terror, currently being shown in Frankfurt am Main) and the permanent exhibition on the East Side Gallery (www.eastsidegallery exhibition.de) at the Berlin Wall Foundation. Since mid-September 2024, head of department for exhibitions in the Stasi Document Archive/Federal Archives.
