Natalie Whitesel
Master in Public Policy Candidate at Harvard Kennedy School
Natalie Whitesel is a second-year MPP candidates at the Harvard Kennedy School, focused on climate and sustainability policy. Before HKS, Natalie worked as a Legislative Assistant to the Washington State House of Representatives working to pass climate, natural resource, and energy policy priorities. She started her professional career in electoral politics and is a dedicated public servant. Most recently, Natalie worked for Oregon Governor Tina Kotek, where she developed resilience metrics, a methodology for climate impact analysis, and policy recommendations to stimulate clean tech manufacturing in the state. She received a BA from Whitman College in Politics and Environmental Studies.
