Dr. Naika Foroutan is a Professor of Social Sciences at Humboldt University in Berlin, where she leads the Department of Integration Studies and Social Policies at the Berlin Institute for Integration and Migration (BIM). She also directs the German Center for Integration and Migration (DeZIM), a government-funded institute that researches migration, integration, and monitors Racism for the German government. Her work focuses on immigration, Islam in Europe, and Middle Eastern Futurisms. In her book The Post-migrant Society, she developed a widely recognized framework for analyzing migration-related social transformations.
