Urs Gasser is professor of public policy and governance at the Technical University of Munich, Dean of the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology, and Rector of the Munich School of Politics and Public Policy. Previously, he was the long-time executive director of Havard’s Berkman Klein Center, and now visiting professor at Harvard Law School. He serves as advisor to governments in Europe, Asia, and Latin America with a focus on digital and AI policy. Among his recent publications is “Guardrails: Guiding Human Decisions in the Age of AI” (Princeton University Press 2024, with Viktor Mayer-Schönberger).
