Roderich Kiesewetter

Roderich Kiesewetter is Member of the German Parliament (CDU) and former General Staff Officer of the Bundeswehr. He studied economics in Munich and Austin/Texas. He served for almost 30 years in the German Armed Forces in various command, staff assignments and in various foreign missions. He has been a member of the Bundestag since 2009. Kiesewetter is representative of foreign affairs for the CDU/CSU-Caucus and deputy chairperson of the Parliamentary Oversight Panel. In 2022 he was elected as Spokesperson for crisis prevention. Since 2019 Kiesewetter is Speaker of the advisory council of the Federal Academy for Security Policy Council.
