Robert Havkin
Head of Foundations
Robert is a final-year MD student, having received his medical training at the Charité Berlin, the University of Zurich, and the University of Zimbabwe in Harare. His current research at the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard focuses on the genetics and the neurobiology of autism. As a passionate musician, Robert also studied conducting, trumpet, and piano at the music academies in Berlin ("Hanns Eisler") and Hannover. He is currently supported by the Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. When not pondering in the lab or making some kind of music, Robert can be found in a theater, biking or hiking through the splendid landscapes of New England.
