Colonel Markus Reisner

Colonel (GS) Dr. Markus Reisner, PhD is an accomplished General Staff officer in the Austrian Armed Forces. With extensive experience in Special Operations and deployments in conflict zones, he holds a PhD in history and interdisciplinary legal studies. He's a member of the Military History Advisory Board and serves as the Head of Research and Development at the Theresian Military Academy. Currently, he commands the Austrian Honor Guards Battalion and is a respected military expert on the Ukraine conflict, known for his publications on military history and the future of warfare.
