Ian Condry
Professor, Founder of MIT Spatial Sound Lab
Ian Condry is a cultural anthropologist at MIT with two books, Hip-Hop Japan and The Soul of Anime. In 2019, he founded the MIT Spatial Sound Lab as a community studio that utilizes the d&b Soundscape from Germany. He makes music as Leftroman and hosts the radio show “Near & Far” on WMBR 88.1 FM Cambridge (Tu, 7-8pm). His current research explores spatial sound for live performance in Tokyo, Boston and Berlin. https://linktr.ee/iancondry
