Jens Kleesiek

Jens Kleesiek is a full professor at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (IKIM) of the University Hospital in Essen, Germany, where he heads the department of Medical Machine Learning. He is also Associate Director for Data and IT at the West German Cancer Center. His research focuses on methods for self- and weakly-supervised learning to detect clinically relevant patterns in medical data and on the integration of multimodal information for improving decision-making at the point of care.
