Dr. Oliver Schmolke
Vice Chief of Staff, Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany
Oliver Schmolke is a political scientist and has written about German history of the 20th century. His book on social liberal thinking analyzes progressive alliances in German politics. He has had a long standing career in public service, held various advisory positions in German government and serves as General Director and Vice Chief of Staff for the Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. He was also the 2022 John F. Kennedy Memorial Policy Fellow of Harvard's Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies.
