Rick Wolthusen

Rick Wolthusen, MD, MPP is a highly accomplished physician-scientist certified in Germany, New Zealand, and the US with a multidisciplinary background in psychiatry, global mental health, neurosciences, and public policy. He has more than ten years of extensive work experience in various countries, including Germany, the US, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Ecuador, and Australia. He is the recipient of numerous (inter)national scholarships, awards, and fellowships and recently received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. He is an avid conference contributor, podcast guest, founder of NGOs, program director of EU-funded activities, mental health consultant, leader, innovator, change-maker, and advocate.
