Bendix is currently a third year medical student at Heidelberg University and is a scholar of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. He is working as a research assistant at the German Cancer Research Center and has interned in his gap year in the laboratory of nobel laureate Ada Yonath. Before university, Bendix was a junior athlete: he won the German Championships in sailing twice and participated in the world championships.
He is part of WEF Global Shapers Community and volunteers for several student organisations in Heidelberg, including Heidelberger Kreis where he has co-organized several keynotes by high-profile speakers. He is eager to bring the most interesting speakers for this year's GAC onto the stage.
