Daniel is an MD student from Erlangen with a special interest in neurology and immunology. To delve deeper into experimental research, he joined one of the neuroimmunology labs at Brigham and Women's Hospital Boston. There, his work mainly focuses on how the microbiome shapes the immune response during neuroinflammatory diseases, especially multiple sclerosis. If not at the lab bench, Daniel likes to start cooking experiments at home, join the uncountable number of runners on Charles Esplanade, or play & listen to Jazz and Classical Music.
