Leonard is a fifth-year medical student and research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital. Under the mentorship of Dr. Gfrerer and Dr. Austen from the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, he is exploring new methods to sustainably advance the diagnostics and surgical approaches in headache surgery. He is fascinated by providing an effective treatment solution for a persisting public health burden. Therefore, he is also working on a mobile application to broaden the access to headache surgery and enable non-surgical experts to screen headache patients. Leonard enjoys lifting weights and reading poetry. That is why he is always down for gym or Goethe sessions.
