Mateo is a physics student from the University of Heidelberg and a Visiting Fellow at Harvard’s Rowland Institute. For his bachelor’s thesis, he investigates quantum dots that can be used in solar cells or displays and tries to influence their optical properties. To share his passion for physics, he co-organizes a seminar on "The Toolbox of Theoretical Physics - How Do We Describe the Future?". In his free time, Mateo enjoys hiking, taking photos, reading and mixing gin and tonic long drinks.
