Rieke is a medical student in her 8th semester in Hamburg and is currently pursuing a PhD in immunology at the Yale School of Medicine. Her project involves working with Alzheimer's disease models to decipher the function of microglia, the immune cells of the brain in this context. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer, painting, and traveling.
