Samuel Knoedler
GAC 2023
Samuel is a fourth-year medical student and doctoral candidate at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar in Munich, Germany. In cooperation with the Orgill Lab of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, he is exploring new methods to sustainably improve scar and wound healing. This interest in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery also manifests in his support of the non-profit organization Reconstructing Women International. The aim to put a smile on people's faces (again) is what energizes and motivates him. Samuel enjoys traveling and likes any kind of sport. International soccer matches with locals in Africa and gym sessions with friends in Australia, therefore, rank among his favorite memories.
