Sebastian is a PhD Candidate in Biological and Biomedical Sciences and in the Therapeutic Graduate Program within the Harvard Division of Medical Sciences. His research focus in the HMS Department of Genetics is to study how evolution shapes the development of normal tissues and tumors. In particular, Sebastian wants to explore how these fundamental insights gained might translate to superior approaches for the early detection of cancer. Having previously organized the GACs in 2022 and 2019, Sebastian is fully committed to making this year's conference an unforgettable experience! On the weekend, you might find him exploring his favorite cannoli spots in Boston’s North End.
