Sophie is a fourth-year medical student at Heidelberg University, Germany, with a passion for neurology. Starting in August, she will pursue her doctoral thesis at the MassGeneral Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases in Boston. Besides her love for science, Sophie is enthusiastic about sports, music, and politics. She is particular passionate about empowering other young people to get involved in politics. Being a member of a top-level German field hockey team and she is also interested in understanding successful team dynamics and leadership.
