Sacha Alanoca
Sacha Alanoca is an AI Governance researcher, John F. Kennedy Fellow and MPA Candidate at Harvard University. On campus, she advances responsible AI efforts as the Co-Chair of the AI & Emerging Tech Caucus at HKS and AI Leader with the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. Prior to HKS, Sacha worked as a Senior AI Policy Researcher for the think tank The Future Society. She coordinated the development of Tunisia's AI national strategy, published scientific and policy papers on topics such as responsible AI for pandemic response, and joined the OECD AI Policy Observatory as an AI Expert. This summer, Sacha worked with the EU Commission on the AI Act, considered as the first comprehensive AI regulation. Sacha is Franco-Chilean. She was named one of the “100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics” in 2022 and one of the most “Disruptive Women in Tech” in 2023.
